Looking for the perfect coffee table for your living area can sometimes find its way to being a difficult task. You have to think through what it is you want for your living space. Do you want round or square, gold or silver, glass or mirrored??! These variations of coffee tables can be so mind-boggling.…
There is nothing like getting home from a long day of work, taking a shower and falling asleep in a cozy warm bed. (it’s making me sleepy just talking about it LOL) Obtaining the look and feel of a cozy bed requires LAYERS!!! I am going to provide you with a few steps on how to make your bed cozy.
Steps to a Cozy Bed…
Step 1: Choose a good quality comforter or duvet, it is the most important element of having a cozy bed. TRUST ME I KNOW lol. I like a comforter that has some weight on it, the heaviness equates to coziness in my mind. Homegoods is my go to store for quality comforter sets. (I am currently hoarding comforter sets right now as I am typing in my coat closet) I currently have a silver-ish velvet Tahari Comforter Set on my bed and absolutely love it and it only cost me about $129.
Step 2. Get COMFY PILLOWS. From the sleeping pillow, to the sham, to the decorative pillow…THEY MUST ALL LOOK AND FEEL COMFY. It would probably be in the best interest of coziness to get some feather filled pillows, which are fluffy and soft. Ross Dress for Less has great deals on 2 for 1 sleeping pillows that come in all different sizes and comfort levels for a range from atleast $16-$25. I have two on my bed now and they have yet to get flat. Burlington also has great deals on pillows.
Step 3. SHEETS. Please get good quality sheets, they make all the difference of whether you wanna feel like you are sleeping on a piece of cardboard or a nice fluffy cloud. You can really find quality sheets anywhere, again Ross Dress For Less is always stocked with nice inexpensive sheets. I currently has sheets on my bed from a store called Roses. I purchased a set of Queen sheets for about $10 BUT they are a JCPENNY brand so I wasnt surprised of their quality when I first laid on them. One small little tip before I go, take your sheets out of the pack and give them a wash before putting them on your bed, they will feel super soft once you take them out of the dryer.
Step 4. Add a Throw. YES, get a throw just for the aesthetics lol. I love soft fluffy throws. I always find great ones at Marshalls, TJMaxx, Homegoods and Burlington.
